"Where Arsenal failed, Chelsea can succeed" - Ashley Cole

Or should I say (C)ashley Cole. I hope he doesn't get any success with Chelsea in the near future. Money grabbing ambition-less degenerate. Maybe it's a sign. Some of the world's best players have made their way to Stamford Bridge in the recent season and have failed to live up to their promise. Ashley Cole has been frequently injured and need we say how mediocre Michael Ballack looked against the likes of Cesc Fabregas and Denilson in the Carling Cup Final.

And of course, the mack daddy of them failures, Andriy Shevchenko. Despite being the ex-European player of the year Chelsea definitely did not need him. It was so obvious that he was a forced buy by Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich as they are good friends. Now he's a has-been and he is largely at fault for Chelsea's dip in form and fluency in their play. Chelsea has got no shape in their formation unlike in their first season when they won the Premiership. Football purists would know what I'm talking about (read: Manoj)

Wow a rant about Cashley Cole went quite far really. I'll be watching the Valencia-Chelsea match to see how it goes down. On to my main agenda(s) of the day:

1. IPPT

It's been awhile since BMT where I was in better physical shape and had a pretty above average result (I was pleasantly surprised too). My IPPT results read:

Shuttle Run - 10secs
Sit Ups - 43
Stand Broad Jump - 230cm (OMFG)
Pull Ups - 10 (OMFG)
2.4km Run - 10mins 30 secs

There is still a glimmer of hope seeing that I could do 7 pull ups today after like... a few months of inactivity. And I'm hoping my SBJ isn't a fluke. It would be nice if you could come down to Nee Soon Camp and hold up banners supporting me. Don't forget to change for a Visitor's Pass.

2. NDP

Yes, I am going to be involved in this year's NDP as my camp is the HQ. I will have 6-8 Saturdays burnt during the June to 9 Aug period so please make bookings with me in advanced. And if you do see a slim guy in an army uniform at Marina on a Saturday looking busy, that would be me. Please don't be afraid to say hi. I won't shoot you.
