I think everyone had a sneaking feeling that this guy won't last the game when he got a yellow card about 10 minutes into the game for arguing with the ref. Somehow we just knew that he'll get booked some time and he will get sent off. True enough!
He just HAD to trip Modric in front of the fans! He complained that he was unfairly booked for arguing and if he wasn't booked then, he would still be playing. Rubbish! That trip was an immediate red card in my eyes for unsportsmanlike behaviour.
It was kinda of unfortunate h had to start his shenanigans when he was playing decently well, causing problems to the Spurs defense with his diagonal runs into the box. He even had a goal called off due to some bad refereeing.
Mr Wenger, if you so happen to grace my blog please take my advice and sell of Eboue. Didn't Atletico Madrid attempt a bid for him during the January window? Take that money and buy a new Holding Midfield player. I'd even take Nicky Butt now seeing how bad Song is. No, really I'm serious.
Then there's the case of Denilson. That guy has good potential. Hell, he's playing way better than anyone his age right now. But he is not a defensive midfield player. And he's not good enough to play centre midfield yet. A loan spell next season will definitely do him some good.
But please. Sell Eboue.

Finally, someone to add movement and impetus from the midfield. Fantastic technical ability too. Only problem is that he stands at 1.72m - meaning that he is as tall as I am which doesn't bode well for players in a league well-known for being very physical. He'll also need 2 weeks to regain full fitness as he hasn't played since the Russian league ended in November.
Arsenal's history with expensive signings has been at best, ok. Arshavin comes in for a fee rumoured to cost £16.5 million which makes him Arsenal's most expensive signing ever. Let's hope he manages to acclimatise to the EPL asap and live up to expectations.
Spurs, however, have made a big joke of themselves by recruiting 3 of their old players just after they have left 6 months ago. All good players who shouldn't have left the club in the first place. I wonder how they acquire their funds when a lot of their signings have been bought for overly inflated prices (i.e. Darren Bent for £16 million).
They have again been one of the most (if not THE most) busiest club during the transfer window again, taking in 5 players. How much more do you need to spend to improve the team. Hopefully 'Arry can bring his bargaining abilities to Spurs to cut some spending costs.

Found this freaking hilarious ad on craiglist online directory. Probably some guy who wants to sell off his bike. Sounds like Hong Xiang to me. But hey you'll never know who it is on the other side of the internet.

After watching many of his live concert videos on Youtube and MTV, I've to say Kanye's performance last night was just a notch below my grand expectations of him. Granted the lightings and special effects were very very impressive but the gig felt like a scripted show. A very well-scripted show I have to say but it lacked a certain discerning quality.
Yes he was energetic. Prancing around the stage, singing with full emotion but he somehow felt very detached from the audience; having almost no interaction with the audience. Having spent $188 on their ticket to experience, I assume, a once-in-a-lifetime show, the audience deserved more respect than that and I've not even included the fact that he was late for an hour and a half.
Not to take away some of the other aspects of the concert, his band and back-up singers were excellent. Yes, as excellent as the special effects which gave NDP a run for its money.
Pictures are over here! And here's a video of his entrance:

I am so fricking hooked to The Celebrity Apprentice. Not all these contestants are household names in Singapore especially the notorious Omarosa. Calling her a celebrity would be naming the term loosely. She's a vile witch who was from the previous season (s?) of the show and she's been said to be like a cockroach who can survive the harshest of nuclear winters.
There's also Gene Simmons who is a genius in every sense of the word. There are some like country singer Trace Adkins who a breath of fresh air with the level of integrity they uphold despite the unpleasantries surrounding them within the show. One without such integrity (read: hypocrite of the decade) would be Stephen Baldwin, one of the many Baldwins I never knew existed. Cunning little mofo he is.
Look out for hotties Tiffany Fallon and Ivanka Trump. Mmm Ivanka.

Have you ever wore an old pair of shoes you've not worn in a long time and it felt so totally great that it brought back memories of a better time and it made you remember the person you were when you regularly wore it?
Well I did. And it felt good.

I hope this time around we won't be hustled instead.
Quote of the Day: "OK, see, after the year that I've had and on the most important day of my life you'd think she might ask what I wanted, a nice blowjob perhaps, where all I could do is just sit back for the first time in nine months and do nothing but admire the top of her head and pray that this fucking movie opens so I can stop selling off assets like we're fucking Michael Jackson. Now I have to answer the fucking batphone when it rings three fucking times and its fucking Vince." - Ari Gold

Don't you sometimes find that you're losing your friends one by one? For some ridiculous reason or another I feel that way. But hey, that's just me.
Oh and the songwriting has been going smoothly. Just hope that I'm done before my friends are gone.

Friday night was spent with Heather and some friends at Mimolette and us guys had a discussion about girls which had me bursting out about this.
(Taken from www.bash.org)
A woman has a close male friend. This means that he is probably interested in her, which is why he hangs around so much. She sees him strictly as a friend.
This always starts out with, you're a great guy, but I don't like you in that way. This is roughly the equivalent for the guy of going to a job interview and the company saying, You have a great resume, you have all the qualifications we are looking for, but we're not going to hire you. We will, however, use your resume as the basis for comparison for all other applicants.
But, we're going to hire somebody who is far less qualified and is probably an alcoholic. And if he doesn't work out, we'll hire somebody else, but still not you. In fact, we will never hire you. But we will call you from time to time to complain about the person that we hired.

A week back everyone was celebrating the life of Heath Ledger who played the Joker in The Dark Knight. Today I mourn the passing of a dear friend whom I would have never have thought to meet if not for NS. Md Azli bin Rasul was one of the funny guys in the guard room. Always having an abundance of jokes up his sleeve.
I never regretted being in Nee Soon as an RP which gave me the opportunity to meet people like Azli who are just one in a million. He never complained when we had to do our obligatory sai kang for our csm who never tires of the aforementioned activity.
We owe it alot to Azli and his bike. We transported around the camp on his bike when we had Northgate duties to carry out and even when we had to indent lunch from the cookhouse which, let's just say isn't a stone's throw away. Mani and Adam were just a few of those who benefited from Azli's generosity, borrowing his bike to practise before their big tests at SSDC. We were even there for Wan's crashing of Azli's bike in which he skidded and smashed parts of the bike. But Azli never even requested for compensation.
And did I already mention he was hilarious?
Unfortunately such good natured guys are hard to find these days and we lost another one to a bike accident this afternoon. It was even more tragic that he died a day before his birthday, being knocked down by a lorry and passing away on the spot. I will never forget the crying of his parents and even our friends. But let's not forget the joy that he has brought to all of us and all the other good times we've spent with Azli.
Our very own Joker.
