Thnks Fr Th Mmrs

A week back everyone was celebrating the life of Heath Ledger who played the Joker in The Dark Knight. Today I mourn the passing of a dear friend whom I would have never have thought to meet if not for NS. Md Azli bin Rasul was one of the funny guys in the guard room. Always having an abundance of jokes up his sleeve.

I never regretted being in Nee Soon as an RP which gave me the opportunity to meet people like Azli who are just one in a million. He never complained when we had to do our obligatory sai kang for our csm who never tires of the aforementioned activity.

We owe it alot to Azli and his bike. We transported around the camp on his bike when we had Northgate duties to carry out and even when we had to indent lunch from the cookhouse which, let's just say isn't a stone's throw away. Mani and Adam were just a few of those who benefited from Azli's generosity, borrowing his bike to practise before their big tests at SSDC. We were even there for Wan's crashing of Azli's bike in which he skidded and smashed parts of the bike. But Azli never even requested for compensation.

And did I already mention he was hilarious?

Unfortunately such good natured guys are hard to find these days and we lost another one to a bike accident this afternoon. It was even more tragic that he died a day before his birthday, being knocked down by a lorry and passing away on the spot. I will never forget the crying of his parents and even our friends. But let's not forget the joy that he has brought to all of us and all the other good times we've spent with Azli.

Our very own Joker.

Cross Roads

I knew that they day would come when I have to choose between work and studying. Sooner or later that would problem would crop up. But I'll leave that for Future Hatta to decide. Now I'm waiting in anticipation for Thursday. Why? Because of this.

Let's hope things pan out well. So far so good. I think.
